Description

Join us for the Summer Queen Gathering!

The Summer Queen Gathering is our first Story Walk in Threefold Village! We are incredibly excited to share the story walk experience with each of you.   Come enjoy this special treat in the form of the Story Walk of the Summer Queen.

What is a Story Walk?

A story walk, is an adventure of imagination and creativity.  A host character greets and leads the group on a simple walk, telling her tale, and finding special locations along the way.  Each location is inhabited by a character, narration, or presence that will tell a story of it’s own.  In the Summer Queen’s Story Walk, she’ll be  introducing us to her friends, the elements, along an easily walkable  journey.

Waldorf Teacher Led Summer Theme Circle Time

We will enjoy a community favorite in Circle Time for the children, to lift our spirits and wiggle our limbs, hosted by a certified Waldorf Teacher. Circle is always a lovely way to engage the children and unite the group as one.

Hands On Crafting for Children

The summer Craft will have the children making a nature loom and incorporate treasures found across their day and received from friends they may meet – especially, those they meet on the Story Walk.

Reminders

As always, be prepared for the weather of the day.  Bring plenty of water and a lunch or snack for your child.

Parking

*This park has a parking lot off of Sesnon Blvd and plenty of street parking. You will cross a bridge at the entrance and follow a paved path through a citrus grove. We will be located at the picnic tables next to the bathrooms.

Please note: There is another park across Sesnon, with a playground called “Bee Canyon Park.”  That is not our location.  If you see the playground, you want to be on the opposite side of the street, heading up the path.
