Music: Beginning Violin and Viola forAges 9 – 11 (Grades 3-5)

Beginning violin and viola, yet also an exploration of music-making, using our voices, world percussion and creative movement!  We will learn the basics of playing the violin or viola, by ear and by reading music.  This will also be an introduction to the fundamentals of music, such as the rhythm, tempo, dynamics, tone and melody.  Students will need to bring their own instrument or rent one for a reasonable fee. 

Beginning Violin and Viola is offered Wednesday morning:

• 10:00 am for ages 9 -11 (grades 3-5) 

SELECTIONS:

• Choose the age group for your student
• Choose the Day you’d like to attend.
• Choose the Session Length – Either Full Year, or Fall Semester
• Payment Terms –
  • Choose “One-time” to pay the total, today.
  • Choose “Monthly Installments” to pay a 15% deposit + your first monthly installment today and the balance will be billed monthly, in additional payments. (See selections for more details.)
  • Choose “Charter Funds” if you are currently enrolled in a charter program we partner with.  You will be charged a deposit which will either be applied to your final balance, or if Charter funds cover your complete balance, the deposit will be refunded to you.

NOTE:  During checkout, please enter your child’s name, age and grade level in the “Order notes” text box. 

An instrument fee of $44 for the semester and a $70 deposit will be required for students to use during the course each semester.
