In celebration of the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Threefold Village has invited Mr. Gerald C. Rivers, THE voice of Dr. King, to present an iconic speech to the community’s grades students on January 23.
This marks the third year we’ve had the pleasure to host Mr. Rivers’ unique presentation to provide the students with an incredible opportunity to experience the immortal words of a great American legend whose message has affected the course of history and continues to be relevant today. Your children will benefit from this experiential presentation of U.S. History through a seminal moment in the Civil Rights Movement.
As an extra pleasure this year, Mr. Rivers will also bring supporting cultural entertainment with a percussive performance group.
Mr. Rivers is in high demand all year, but most of all during this season. While it is difficult to compete with large institutions on a price basis, we are fortunate to resonate with Mr. Rivers through the mission of our organization. In order to show our appreciation, we have created this page to receive donations to go directly to Mr. Rivers honorarium in recognition of his time and effort.
